1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vikasit AI (operated by Chandorkar Technologies, Pune, Maharashtra, India), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. "Services" refers to the Vikasit AI platform, including our API, web interface, CLI tools, SDKs, and documentation.

2. Description of Service

Vikasit AI provides access to large language models through an API, conversational web interface, command-line interface, and software development kits. Our models are continually pre-trained on Indian language data to provide multilingual AI capabilities across 22+ Indian languages.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vikasit AI to: generate illegal, harmful, or threatening content; produce content that violates any person's rights; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract model weights from our API; build a competing AI service using our API outputs as training data; exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions; impersonate others or misrepresent your identity; transmit malware or engage in any activity that disrupts our services.

5. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies as defined by your subscription tier. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for accounts that exhibit abusive patterns. API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly or embedded in client-side code.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Models: Vikasit AI models are released under the Apache 2.0 open-source license. You may use, modify, and distribute the models in accordance with the Apache 2.0 license terms.

Our Platform: The Vikasit AI platform, website, brand, and proprietary infrastructure are the intellectual property of Chandorkar Technologies and are not covered by the Apache 2.0 license.

Your Content: You retain all rights to your input prompts and the AI-generated outputs. We do not claim ownership over content you create using our services.

7. Data Sovereignty

All data processing occurs on infrastructure located within India. We do not transfer any data outside Indian borders. This applies to API requests, stored conversations, and all metadata. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vikasit AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI outputs before use in production or decision-making. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for our services in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Free tier users receive best-effort service with no SLA. Enterprise customers may negotiate specific SLA terms. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable prior notice.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
